Terms of Service
Last updated: 31 August 2026
Starter draft — not legal advice. Review and adapt this before relying on it.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using PackerHub at app.ecuhax.com (“the service”), you agree to
these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who may use the service
The service is intended for professionals and researchers and is provided for research and educational purposes. By using it you confirm that you are acting in a professional or research capacity, that you own or are authorised to modify every file you upload, and that your use complies with all laws and vehicle, emissions, and type-approval regulations that apply to you. You are solely responsible for how any output is used.
3. Your account
One person per account. Keep your credentials secure and verify your email address. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You must not: upload files you have no right to modify; use the service for anything unlawful; attempt to disrupt, attack, overload, or reverse-engineer the service itself; or resell or redistribute the service without permission.
5. Service provided “as is”
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any job will succeed or that any output is correct, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You must independently test and validate any file before using it.
6. Payment, digital delivery and refunds
PackerHub provides a paid, professional digital service: you upload an original file, our system processes it, and — once you pay — the resulting patched file is delivered to you. Processing happens before payment; the finished download is locked until payment is confirmed.
6.1 Price
The price for each job is shown on the checkout page before you pay and is charged in the currency shown there. The price presented at checkout is the price that applies to that order.
6.2 Immediate delivery and your consent
At checkout you must tick a consent box confirming that you request immediate delivery and that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal (the 14-day cancellation right under EU law) once delivery has begun. We record the exact wording you agreed to, with the date, time and your IP address, and store it on your order as evidence. If you do not give this consent, the file is not delivered.
6.3 Non-refundable
Because the patched file is delivered immediately on payment, all sales are final and non-refundable. You are responsible for confirming the job is correct before purchasing. A chargeback for a service delivered as described is a breach of these terms and may result in account suspension.
6.4 Download window and deletion
After payment your download unlocks in your account and a copy is emailed to your account address. The link stays active for a limited period (currently 72 hours). After that window the output file is automatically and permanently deleted and cannot be recovered or re-issued without a new order. Please keep your own local copy. We retain a minimal order/receipt record (order id, amount, timestamps, consent) after deletion for accounting and legal purposes.
6.5 Support
Support for paid jobs is limited and provided on a best-effort basis to professional users.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, for damage to vehicles, ECUs, or equipment, or for data loss arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the job giving rise to it.
8. Support
Support is limited and provided on a best-effort basis, with no guaranteed response time.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia and the European Union. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Latvia.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date above will change. Questions? Email janis@ecuhax.com.
12. Catalog files (definitions, calibrations and data files)
PackerHub also sells prewritten files from the operator's own catalog (for example ECU definition files such as A2L, OLS/DAMOS, maps and related data). These are existing digital files, delivered on purchase. Sections 6.1–6.3 (price shown at checkout, immediate delivery, your withdrawal-right consent, and the non-refundable rule) apply to catalog purchases in the same way.
12.1 Sold as-is, under a per-product licence
Each catalog file is sold as-is, without warranty of fitness for any particular ECU, vehicle or purpose. Each product may carry its own licence terms, shown on the product page and again at checkout; by purchasing you accept those licence terms for that file. Where a product shows no separate licence, it is supplied for your own professional use only and may not be redistributed, resold or published.
12.2 Your responsibility for lawful use
You are responsible for ensuring that your purchase and use of a catalog file is lawful in your jurisdiction and does not infringe any third party's rights. Definition and calibration data can be subject to third-party intellectual property; you must satisfy yourself that your intended use is permitted before you buy. You may not use a purchased file for any unlawful purpose.
12.3 Ownership and takedowns
The operator lists only files it believes it is entitled to sell. If you hold rights in a file offered here and believe it is listed without authorisation, contact us and we will remove it. We may withdraw any product from sale at any time. Withdrawing a product from sale does not by itself revoke files you have already lawfully purchased — except where we are required to suspend or withdraw access for legal or intellectual-property reasons, in which case access to that file may be disabled for all users.
12.4 Access to purchased files
After payment, purchased catalog files remain available to re-download from My Purchases in your account for as long as the product remains available. (If a limited download window is configured for a product, it is shown in My Purchases. An emailed download link may expire sooner than your in-account access.) We keep a minimal order record — order id, amount, timestamps and the licence text you accepted — for accounting and legal purposes.
